GALAD Music ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

Data Stored on Your Device

GALAD Music stores the following data locally on your device using CoreData. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers:

• Your taste models ("vibes") and swipe history (liked/disliked tracks)
• Track metadata (title, artist, album art URLs) used to build your taste model
• App preferences and settings

Apple Music

If you grant Apple Music permission, the app can read your playlists to seed a taste model and add songs to your library. This access is used solely within the app and is not transmitted to any server. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music.

Spotify

If you connect Spotify, the app uses OAuth to access your playlists for importing tracks. Your Spotify credentials are never stored — only a temporary access token, which is kept on-device. You can disconnect Spotify at any time from within the app or from your Spotify account settings.

Advertising

The free version of GALAD Music displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain device identifiers (such as IDFA) and usage data to serve personalized ads, subject to your device's ad tracking settings. You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Purchasing "Remove Ads" disables all advertising and AdMob data collection within the app.

Purchases

In-app purchases (such as "Remove Ads") are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Third-Party Services

GALAD Music uses the Deezer API to search for tracks and retrieve audio previews. Searches include track titles and artist names. No personal information is sent to Deezer.

Analytics

We do not use any analytics SDKs or collect crash reports beyond what Apple provides through the App Store (aggregated, anonymized diagnostics you can opt out of in iOS Settings).

Children's Privacy

GALAD Music is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
